Urgency Ordinance: Hemp Cultivation

The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors will be voting, June 19, 2018, on a hemp cultivation urgency ordinance. The ordinance would ban “Established Agricultural Research Institution” cultivations – with several exemptions – until the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Industrial Hemp Advisory Board provides rules and direction on commercially cultivated hemp.
