Farm Bureau Extension: 2023 Continuing Education Series
California Farm Bureau presents the Farm Bureau Extension: 2023 CE Series held virtually. Join us throughout the year for webinars featuring content that meets your pesticide continuing education (CE) requirements. Subject matter experts will share information immediately applicable to your business operations and advance your professional development. CE certificates will be sent for each webinar attended after successful completion of a simple quiz on the material. New in 2022! This year's schedule will feature CE classes in English and Spanish.
The 2023 CE Series includes EIGHT class dates throughout the year. Class dates are: April 27, May 25, June 29, July 20, Aug. 24, Sept. 21, Oct. 26, and Nov. 30. Register and learn more here.

- Details: Our board meetings are held on the Fourth Tuesday of the month at 5pm and are open to all Farm Bureau members. Please RSVP by sending an email to bburchett@slofarmbureau.org or call our office at 805-543-3654 so we can get a headcount for dinner.

- What: Best of the West Antique Equipment Show BBQ Fundraiser
- Where: Santa Margarita Ranch
- Details: Come join the Farm Bureau for our annual tri-tip sandwich booth at the Best of the West. Volunteers needed for food preparation and sales all three days. - What: Card Check Seminar
- Where: SLO Farm Bureau Office (4875 Morabito Place, SLO 93401)
- Details: Presented by Barsamian and Moody, Attorneys at Law, this seminar will walk through the statutory changes to the Agricultural Labor Relations Act, including what is card check, labor peace elections, the administrative penalties, and appeal bond requirements in the new law. The seminar is intended for owner-operators, managers, human resources personnel, and farm labor contractors (FLCs). FLC representatives are encouraged to attend.
Spanish language interpretation and devices will be available for attendees. If you will need Spanish language translation, please register, and indicate the Spanish language option to ensure enough listening headsets can be provided. - Details: College students and young agriculture professionals are invited to come out and enjoy a tri-tip dinner, games, and an industry speaker.

- Where: California Mid-State Fair Livestock Pavilion
- Details: Come and barbecue for the dinner that evening, or come and participate in the fun events like the PRWCA's wine pouring, the presentation of the awards, and the annual dinner.

- Where: California Mid-State Fair Livestock Pavilion
- Details: As a sponsor of the livestock sale, SLO County Farm Bureau will have a table at the event and host a membership drive during the sale.
