It promises to be a great time, with wonderful food and friendly people - don't miss it!

Paso Robles, CA – What do you get when you order up two-thousand pounds of crab, dozens of loaves of crusty bread, and bowls of creamy pasta? The answer is easy...you get one of the most popular agricultural fundraisers on the Central Coast.

This year, some 535 people bought tickets and claimed their bib to an all-you-can-eat Crab Dinner hosted by the San Luis Obispo County Foundation for Agricultural Awareness and California Mid-State Fair Heritage Foundation at the Paso Robles Event Center.  It's not all about the food - it's about the cause. The proceeds from the dinner fund the Foundation for Agricultural Awareness and Heritage Foundation scholarships fund.  Over the years, more than $100,000 in scholarships were awarded to San Luis Obispo County youngsters who have participated in activities at the California Mid-State Fair.

Established in 1998, the San Luis Obispo County Foundation for Agriculture Awareness is a non-profit organization that was created to conduct an ongoing work program promoting agriculture awareness and environmental sensitivity and conscience to all residents, rural and urban alike, of San Luis Obispo County.

The California Mid-State Fair Heritage Foundation, Inc. was founded to preserve and enrich the heritage of the 16th District Agricultural Association and showcase agricultural industries to the community, offer support to the 4-H and FFA programs, create agricultural education opportunities, and maintain a standard of excellence in the
facilities by implementing capital improvements.
