After 34 years of service to the citizens of San Luis Obispo County, and of being a great working partner to agriculture and the Farm Bureau, Brenda Ouwerkerk, Chief Deputy Agricultural Commissioner will retire in early July. Brenda has been instrumental in shaping the department and community service programs that help to protect agriculture, the environment and provide for consumer protection.
Brenda has made countless department updates to the San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, in addition to helping staff and individuals on a variety of important issues.
