Healthy Soils Program Incentives Program

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is now accepting applications for the Healthy Soils Program (HSP). The program provides financial incentives to California growers and ranchers to implement conservation management practices that sequester carbon, reduce atmospheric greenhouse gases (GHGs), and improve soil health. Applications are due April 13, 2018.

The upcoming Technical Assistance Workshop will help you learn more and show you how to apply.

  • Overview of Program requirements and requirements for implementation of eligible management practices
  • Assistance with Program application materials.
  • Coordination of Internet and computer access for completing and submitting electronic application during grant application period.

Bring your laptop so that we may help you complete your application. If you do not have a laptop, a computer will be provided.
