100th Anniversary and Centennial Celebration of SLO County Agriculture

dinner + drinks + dancing: SLO County Farm Bureau is Turning 100!

San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau is celebrating 100 years of advocating on behalf of our family farmers, ranchers and local agriculture businesses in San Luis Obispo County! Please join us on Saturday, September 10, 2022 for an evening of dinner, dancing and a community celebration of local agriculture hosted at the Alex Madonna Expo Center in San Luis Obispo.

This is a chance to be reminded of the deep-rooted history of agriculture within the county while enjoying dinner, refreshments, and dancing. This year's Farm Bureau Freddy, Heritage Award, and Business of the Year awards will be announced during the program alongside brief Annual Meeting business.

The evening's tentative schedule of events is as follows:

  • 5:00 p.m. Social Hour
  • 6:00 p.m. Invocation and Dinner
  • 6:30 p.m. Program and Awards
  • 7:00 p.m. Live Music from The Money Band and Dancing
  • 10:00 p.m. Event Ends

We are excited to be sharing this momentous occasion with our members, supporters, and the San Luis Obispo County community! Here's the details:

  • Tickets are $100 per person (plus credit card fee). Get your tickets here.
  • Kids 12 and under are free, but please contact Farm Bureau if kids meals are needed.
  • For special dietary needs, please contact SLO County Farm Bureau.
  • Semi-casual attire.
  • Drinks provided during Social Hour, no-host bar after.

About the band: Guests will be entertained by Carmel-based The Money Band, a high-energy, versatile, and extremely entertaining band, specializing in performing electrifying renditions of top #1 hits from the 50's to the present. The Money Band has shared the stage with many major acts including Journey, The Dixie Chicks, Kenny Chesney, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Byrds, Smash Mouth and many more. They have performed all over the world, and have been a crowd favorite at local wine industry and other SLO County events in recent years.

A summary of sponsorship packages is listed below. Please complete the sponsorship form no later than August 25th.

  • TABLE SPONSOR – Table sponsors will receive an assigned table for 10 guests, name or company logo in the event program as well as signage on the table, and complimentary wine at the table.
  • WINE SPONSOR – The wine sponsor will provide 5 cases of red, white or sparkling wine for sponsor tables and will receive an assigned VIP table for 10 guests, name or company logo in the event program as well as signage on the table, complimentary wine at the table, social media mentions and a link to your company website on all event promotions and the Farm Bureau webpage. Should the wine sponsor decide to use their own wine, the cost of the sponsorship is reduced to $1,000.  
  • DESSERT SPONSOR – The dessert sponsor will receive an assigned VIP table for 10 guests, name or company logo in the event program as well as signage on the table, complimentary wine at the table, social media mentions and a link to your company website on all event promotions and Farm Bureau’s webpage.   
  • BAND SPONSOR – Band sponsor will receive an assigned VIP table for 10 guests, name or company logo in the event program as well as signage on the table, complimentary wine at the table, social media mentions, a link to your company website on all event promotions and the Farm Bureau webpage and recognition on stage with your logo or name projected on the screen. This sponsor will be verbally recognized by the band on-stage.   • BAR SPONSOR – Bar Sponsor will receive an assigned VIP table for 10 guests, name or company logo in the event program as well as signage on the table, complimentary wine at the table, social media mentions, a link to your company website on all event promotions and the Farm Bureau webpage, recognition on stage with your logo or name projected on the screen, and your company mentioned during the Farm Bureau morning show segment on KJUG 98.1. Sponsor will also have signage at the bar. Sponsor may coordinate with Farm Bureau on selecting the hosted beverages.
  • AWARD SPONSOR – Event Sponsor will receive an assigned VIP table for 10 guests, name or company logo in the event program as well as signage on the table, complimentary wine at the table, social media mentions, a link to your company website on all event promotions and the Farm Bureau webpage, recognition on stage with your logo or name projected on the screen, your company mentioned during the weekly Farm Bureau morning show segment on KJUG 98.1 and the ability to present the award to the recipient on stage during the event. The awards are: Business of the Year, Heritage Award, and the Farm Bureau “Freddy” Award.
