Clean Air Incentive Programs to aid Farmer and Ranchers

Agricultural Engine Incentive Program


Applications are now being accepted to reduce ozone and toxic emissions from stationary agricultural engines Countywide. The APCD has earmarked $573,175 to replace old stationary agricultural engines with newer cleaner technologies. Grant funding is available on a first-come, first -serve basis.

Implementation of the Ag Engine Incentive Program will enable the APCD to further partner with local stakeholders and assist them in achieving the emission reductions mandated in the new regulations. "The funding provided by the Ag Engine Incentive Program is a vital tool in helping the local Ag community meet these new regulatory requirements," states Larry Allen, APCD Director, "With limited public funds currently available, we need to show the support and interest of local agriculturalists to build for future funding possibilities."...[More]
