How to Join
Become a New Member
Everyone is eligible to apply for Farm Bureau membership and receive the many benefits and services available. When you join, you are applying for membership in the San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau.
All members receive the quarterly San Luis Obispo Country Magazine produced exclusively for San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau members. Members who sign up, receive Ag Update, an e-newsletter e-mailed to you eight times a year.
Agricultural Members are farmers and ranchers who receive income from production agriculture. Agricultural membersreceive the weekly Ag Alert®, California's number one agricultural trade journal. and are also eligible to sign up for Notes From Farm Bureau, San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau's digital update.
Collegiate Members receive weekly Ag Alert newsletters online and have access to scholarships, internship contacts, local and state events and the Young Farmers & Ranchers program.
Business Members benefit from Farm Bureau membership with various marketing opportunities. Show your customers that you support agriculture. Get a Farm Bureau Business Member sticker for your front window and vehicles. Now your ag customers have another reason to bring you their business -- and the business of their friends and neighbors. President's Club Members are Agricultural and Associate members who support the protection and promotion of viable agriculture production in SLO County and California. President's Club members receive the quarterly San Luis Obispo Country Magazine, Ag Update e-newsletter (eight times each year) and either Ag Alert or California Bountiful Magazine. The additional dues collected for a President's Club membership stay in San Luis Obispo County. To become a President's Club member, please call the SLO County Farm Bureau directly, (805) 543-3654.

- Online -- Apply online for Agricultural, Associate or Collegiate memberships.
- By Telephone -- Call San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau office at (805) 543-3654 and have your VISA or MasterCard ready for dues payment. Be ready to provide name, address, phone and other pertinent information. For Business and President's Club memberships, please call the office.
- Walk-in -- 651 Tank Farm Road in the city of San Luis Obispo. Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. (closed noon to 1 p.m.)
- By Mail -- Complete and mail an application form to the California Farm Bureau Federation - Help Desk, 2300 River Plaza Drive, Sacramento, CA 95833. CFBF will contact you to verify the dues rate for SLO County Farm Bureau and will then send you an invoice.
Renew Your Membership
Farm Bureau members in California may renew their memberships online, through a secure Web service. Have your renewal notice available to speed the process; you will need to enter your membership number, name and ZIP code. Renewal dues may be paid online using either VisaŽ or MasterCard®.
